USDC Payment Troubleshooting: Reading a Deposit That Has Not Arrived

A deposit that does not appear is one of four things, and only one of them is a fault at the casino. The other three can be told apart in a few minutes with a transaction hash and an explorer for the road you used.

This note walks through them in order of how often an ordinary mistake produces them, and says honestly where recovery is possible and where it is not.

A steady green line held inside a narrow band while an orange line swings far above and below it
The level line is what a dollar peg promises. The swinging one is what a volatile coin does.

First, find out whether the network finished

Take the transaction hash from your wallet or exchange and open it on the explorer for the road you chose. If it shows as pending, the network has not finished, and nothing at the casino can speed that up. Roobet's deposit article says the funds appear after the required confirmations and names three for USDC. If the explorer shows success with the number of blocks above it, the network side is done and the question moves to the cashier.

Cause one: the cashier has not counted yet

A transfer can be final on the network and still wait for the cashier's own number of confirmations. This is a wait, not a fault. Compare the depth the explorer shows with the number the operator states, where it states one, and wait until the depth passes it.

Cause two: the wrong road

The explorer will show which road the transaction used. If it is a road the cashier did not list for USDC, the transfer is on a network the cashier does not read. Stake's help article says it does not support Arbitrum, Optimism or Base, and Duelbits says sending funds to the wrong address or an unsupported network can lead to long delays, failed deposits or unrecoverable funds. Recovery here is a matter of the operator's goodwill, not of a right, so ask support early and in writing.

Cause three: below the floor

A deposit smaller than the cashier's minimum may never credit. Rollbit's limits page says deposits below the stated amounts will not credit and cannot be recovered by support. Stake's article on deposit limits says deposits under one cent cannot be processed automatically and asks you to contact support. Compare the amount you sent, in the unit the minimum is written in, with the figure on the cashier.

Cause four: the wrong address

An address for another coin, another account or a typo sends the funds to a place the casino does not control. The explorer shows the destination, and you can compare it with the one in the cashier. This is the least recoverable of the four. The peg does nothing here: a dollar's worth of USDC at the wrong address is a dollar that is gone.

What to send support

Send the hash, the road, the time, the amount and a screenshot of the cashier's deposit screen. Ask a single question per message. Say which of the four causes you think it is and why, with the explorer's reading as evidence. Support can act faster on a claim they can check than on a description.

Questions about a missing deposit

Can the casino recover a USDC deposit sent to the wrong network?

Sometimes, at its own discretion. Rollbit and Duelbits each say funds sent on the wrong network are generally unrecoverable or may be lost, so treat recovery as a favour.

Does a stablecoin help me get money back?

No. A transfer is final on the network whatever the coin is worth, and the peg only keeps the value of what is stuck.
