USDC Withdrawal Records: What to Keep From Each Stage and Why
A withdrawal leaves a trail in four places: the cashier's history, the network, your receiving wallet and your own notes. If all four agree, there is nothing to dispute. If one disagrees, the other three tell you where the difference started.
The records matter more with a pegged coin than they seem to, because with USDC the amounts are easy to compare, and an unexplained difference is an actual difference and not a rounding of the market.
The request
Note the time you pressed the button, the amount, the road and the destination address. Screenshot the cashier's confirmation. This is the only moment at which you know exactly what you asked for, and it is the reference every later reading is compared against.
The status in the cashier
A withdrawal passes through the operator's own stages before anything reaches the network. BetFury says each withdrawal is audited by hand and can take up to 24 to 72 hours depending on the case, a statement about the withdrawal stage. Sportsbet.io says withdrawals usually settle within minutes once the deposit it relates to has three confirmations and a turnover step is met. Record each status the cashier shows and when it changed. A request that has no hash yet is still the operator's.
The hash and the explorer
When the cashier shows a transaction hash, copy it. Open it on the explorer for the road, and note the destination address, the amount and the number of blocks above it. If the explorer's destination differs from the one you gave, stop and write to support at once, quoting both. The network's reading is not negotiable; the cashier's is.
The receipt on your side
Your receiving wallet or exchange shows the coin arriving, and it may count it only after its own number of confirmations. Note when it appears and what it shows. If the receiving side is an exchange, its deposit history is part of the record, and so is anything it says about holds.
Reconciling in dollars
Add up the stages. The amount requested, less any operator charge and the network fee, should equal the amount received. With a pegged coin the arithmetic is the same in dollars as in coins, so you can state the difference as a plain number. If the difference is the network fee, it should be about what the cashier previewed; Rollbit says the gas fee for a withdrawal can be previewed before you send it, and Cloudbet says its flat fee follows the network and can change without notice. A difference that no fee explains is a question for support.
How long to keep it
Keep the four records for as long as you might need them for your own reconciliation or for a dispute. We do not address tax, because the rules depend on where you live and we do not know where that is.
Questions about withdrawal records
What is the one thing to copy from a withdrawal?
The transaction hash. With it, anyone can check the road, the amount, the destination and the depth on an explorer.
Does the withdrawal record change if the coin is a stablecoin?
Not in kind. What changes is that the amounts compare cleanly, so a gap is more likely to be a fee or an error than a market move.
