Cashier BitStarz
USDC at BitStarz: a Floor in USDC and a Payout Range in Euros
One cashier, one coin, three units. On BitStarz's payments page USDC is accepted, its deposit floor is written in USDC, and the range for withdrawing it is written in euros. A reader who follows the peg has to follow it across a currency border as well.
The page is public, and everything written here comes from it.
What the payments page says
The page, titled as a list of payments and available currencies, says BitStarz accepts a list of currencies that includes the euro, the US dollar and other fiat currencies, then a run of coins, ending with Tether, Solana and USD Coin. We found no date on the page.
In the table of deposit methods, the row for USDC shows a fee of zero per cent, processing time marked instant, and a limit per transaction of at least 10 USDC. The figure is written in the coin's own unit.
The network that is not in the text
The visible text names no network for USDC. The page does, however, carry a machine-readable catalogue of its currencies, and for USDC the entry lists the ERC20 protocol on Ethereum Mainnet. That is the best evidence of the road, and it is worth treating as a pointer and not as the cashier's last word: the cashier's own deposit screen shows the address and the network you should use.
Payouts in euros
The table of withdrawal methods is the part that sets BitStarz apart on this subject. The row for USDC gives a fee of zero per cent, processing marked instant, and a limit per transaction of at least 50 euros and at most 50,000 euros. The amounts are in a fiat currency, not in the coin.
What that means in practice depends on how the cashier reads the coin against the euro, and the page says nothing about it. For a dollar-pegged coin that reading carries the dollar-to-euro rate on top of the peg. If you are near the lower limit, check the cashier's reading before you ask for a payout, because a balance that looks large enough in USDC may fall short when expressed in euros.
Where the dollar sits
The deposit floor in USDC says nothing about dollars at all. The unit is the coin. The dollar enters only when you compare it against the withdrawal range: 10 USDC in is a figure about a coin, and 50 euros out is a figure about a currency, with a conversion in between that you do not control.
What to do with this
Keep a note of the euro limit and work out what it means in USDC at the rate the cashier shows on the day, before you build a plan around a particular balance. And keep the transaction hash of each stage in the usual way.
Left out on purpose
No welcome offer, wagering multiple, licence detail or rating for BitStarz appears here. The page we read is a payments page, and the figures on it are fees and limits. Those could be given with a source, and the rest could not.
