USDC Deposit Checklist: Six Checks Before You Press Send

A USDC deposit can fail in six ordinary ways, and five of them are decided before anything is sent. This note goes through the checks in the order they are best made, and says for each what the peg changes and what it does not.

It is a reading aid, not a procedure from any operator. Where an operator's own wording bears on a check, it is quoted with its source.

The level line is what a dollar peg promises. The swinging one is what a volatile coin does.

Check one: the network

Choose the network first, because everything after depends on it. Duelbits' help article, stamped January 2026, shows USDC on Ethereum [ERC-20] and on Solana, in a picture. Stake's article, late August 2026, names ERC20, BSC (BEP20), Polygon and Solana. Cloudbet lists seven. If your wallet holds USDC on a road the cashier does not list, move it first or choose another cashier. The dollar value of USDC does not follow it down a road the cashier cannot read.

Check two: the address

Copy the address the cashier shows for the road you chose, and compare the first and last characters after pasting. Addresses on roads that share a format look the same, so format alone cannot tell you that you are right. Rollbit's deposit guide, dated December 2023, says funds are generally unrecoverable if sent by the wrong network, and Duelbits says the same in its own words.

Check three: the unit of the minimum

Find the smallest amount the cashier states and find the unit it is written in. Rollbit states a stablecoin floor in dollars and says deposits below it will not credit and cannot be recovered by support. BitStarz writes its deposit floor in USDC. Sportsbet.io's page says from 0.25 of USDT or USDC. With a pegged coin the three are about the same, but a floor you are told about in dollars and send in coins is a floor you should round up on, not down.

Check four: the amount, with room for the fee

Ask who pays the network fee. It is paid in the road's own coin, from the wallet you send from, and it is separate from the amount you send. Sending exactly the minimum is fine if the fee comes from elsewhere; it fails on some wallets if the fee is taken from the same balance. When the sum is close to a floor, send a little more.

Check five: a test, if it is large

A small first transfer costs one more network fee and proves the address, the road and the crediting at once. For a large deposit it is cheap insurance. Wait for the test to be credited, then send the rest to the same address on the same road.

Check six: the record

Keep the transaction hash, the time, the road and the amount, and a screenshot of the cashier's deposit screen. If something goes wrong, those four things are what support will ask for, and they are easiest to collect at the moment you send. The note on withdrawal records explains how to keep them for the other direction.

Questions before a deposit

How long does a USDC deposit take to arrive?

The network side is usually short, and the cashier credits after its own number of confirmations. Roobet says three for USDC, and that figure is about the deposit only. Other operators do not state one on the pages we read.

Does the peg change anything about a deposit?

Only the reading of the amount. The cashier counts one USDC as one dollar, and a wallet shows a fiat value that nearly matches. Neither changes which road your coins are on.
